Svitlo Wallet

Privacy Policy

Effective July 24, 2026Applies to Svitlo Wallet on iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and Linux
In short
  • Svitlo Wallet is non-custodial — your recovery phrase and private keys are generated and encrypted on your own device. We never see them, store them, or can recover them for you.
  • We collect two things: your wallet address and the transaction/balance data needed to operate the wallet — nothing else.
  • We don't collect your name, email, phone number, or location, and there's no account system to tie any of this to a real identity.
  • No analytics, no ads, no trackers. Nothing here is sold, shared with advertisers, or linked to third-party data about you.
  • Transactions you broadcast are recorded on Svitlo Chain's public ledger — permanent and visible to anyone, by the nature of a blockchain, not by our choice.
01

What we collect

When you use Svitlo Wallet, the app talks to Svitlo Chain's network to show you real balances and broadcast real transactions. That requires sending two things off your device:

Data typeWhat it isWhy we need itLinked to you?
Wallet address The public address derived from your keys — a string of letters and numbers, not a name or account. To look up your balance and attach your signature to transactions you send. Not linked to identity
Financial info Token balances, transaction amounts, and transaction history associated with that address. To display your balance and history, and to process transfers, swaps, and staking. Not linked to identity

Both are used strictly for app functionality — operating the wallet itself. Neither is used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or shared with data brokers.

02

What we don't collect

There is no account system behind Svitlo Wallet, so most categories of personal data simply have nowhere to go:

Never collected
Name Email address Phone number Physical address Precise or coarse location Contacts Photos, audio, or messages Browsing or search history Advertising or device identifiers Health, fitness, or biometric data

We also don't run any analytics SDK, advertising network, or third-party tracker inside the app — there is no third-party partner receiving your data through Svitlo Wallet.

03

How it's used

The wallet address and financial data described above are used for exactly one purpose: making the wallet work — authenticating your own requests, calculating balances, broadcasting signed transactions, quoting swaps, and keeping the app responsive and secure. That's the entirety of it. We don't use this data for marketing, don't build behavioral profiles, and don't personalize anything based on it.

04

The blockchain is public

Svitlo Chain is a public ledger. Once you broadcast a transaction — a transfer, a swap, a stake — it is permanently recorded on-chain: your address, the counterparty's address, the amount, and the time. This is inherent to how any blockchain works, not a choice Svitlo Wallet makes on your behalf, and it cannot be deleted or made private after the fact, by us or anyone else.

Your wallet address is pseudonymous — it isn't tied to your name by Svitlo Wallet or Svitlo Chain — but if you've ever revealed which address is yours to someone else (by sending them a payment with identifying context, for example), that link exists outside of anything we control.

05

What stays on your device

  • Your recovery phrase and private keys are generated on your device and never transmitted anywhere, in any form, at any point.
  • Your keystore is encrypted on-device (AES-256-GCM, password-derived) before it ever touches disk. We don't hold a copy, a backup, or a recovery mechanism — if you lose your password and recovery phrase, we cannot recover the wallet for you.
  • Your password never leaves your device and is never sent to us in any form.
06

Sharing & retention

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers, because we don't collect anything that would be useful to them in the first place. Requests your app makes to Svitlo Chain's nodes are processed to serve that specific request (checking a balance, submitting a transaction) and are not retained by us beyond what the blockchain itself permanently and publicly records as part of its own ledger.

07

Your choices

Because Svitlo Wallet doesn't collect identifying information or operate an account system, most data-subject requests (access, correction, deletion of personal data) don't have a traditional target — we simply don't hold a profile to hand over or erase. What you do control directly:

  • Your recovery phrase and password — back them up or discard them entirely by uninstalling the app.
  • Which node your wallet connects to — configurable in Settings.
  • Whether you ever broadcast a transaction at all — nothing is sent on your behalf without your explicit signature.
08

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Svitlo Wallet after a change means you accept the updated policy — for material changes, we'll do our best to make the update visible inside the app itself.
